Michael R. Neece
I speak with a blended accent making it hard to hear where I’m from. Born in Atlanta, raised on Long Island, college educated and employed in Massachusetts, and returned to New York City in 2018.
My process improvement career started right out of college when I was part of a 3-person engineering team charged with automating a high-volume electronics factory while it was still running. My head was spinning most of the time, but I learned a great deal. Now I have 20 years of consulting experience, helping organizations of all sizes simplify operations, increase productivity, select the right software, and improve profitability.
I have worked with organizations in most major industries, including Fortune 50 organizations domestically and internationally, healthcare, e-commerce, B2C, D2C, biomedical instrumentation, and B2B enterprises as well as governments at the municipal, state, and federal levels.
I’ve gathered experience at multiple phases of operational excellence including change management, project management, process optimization, systems integration and design, training and development, document management, business model creation and analysis, data analysis, and regulatory compliance.
As an accomplished business executive and TEDx speaker, I’ve contributed to or appeared on NBC, ABC, CBS, Bloomberg Radio, Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, US News & World Report, and New York Times.
I’ve earned a BS in Physics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Masters of Engineering from Boston University.
